High-traffic environments like offices or gyms benefit from compressor cooling's faster recovery time under frequent, consecutive use. Personal or low-volume settings can use quieter, more compact thermoelectric units without a noticeable downside.
Bottleless dispensers should include, at minimum, a sediment and carbon filter stage to remove particulates, chlorine taste, and common contaminants from tap water.
